How to Create Event Ads on Facebook with Good Response

Create an Event Ad
Before you begin
To create an event ad, first you'll need to create an event. You must be a Page admin or editor and a co-host of the event you want to advertise.
How to create event ads
You can create event ads to get more responses or to sell more tickets on Facebook. The call to action on your event ad will either say Interested or Get Tickets depending on your objective. Choose the objective that best matches your goals.
If you work with a Facebook ticketing partner to sell tickets, people who see your event ads can purchase tickets right from your Facebook event page.
Use the Traffic or Conversions objective to sell more tickets
If your goal for your event ad is to sell more tickets, you should use the Traffic or the Conversions objective. Creating event ads with these objectives will show a Get Tickets button to people who see your ad.
§  The Traffic objective helps direct people off of Facebook and on to your app or website to purchase tickets.
§  The Conversions objective helps track on-Facebook ticket sales for your event.
To create an event ad with either of these objectives, follow these steps:
1.      From your event page, click Description: https://scontent-bom1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.2365-6/17351741_1879271699014397_7049609811842826240_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=39d335ba805e8127af9db63ce97f4b5c&oe=5BF2BBDA and select Sell More Tickets.
This opens Ads Manager and automatically selects the Trafficobjective. If you want to use the Conversions objective, change the selection to the Conversions objective. Click Continue.
2.     If you chose Traffic, choose where you want people to go and provide details on your target audience, ad placement, budget and schedule.
If you chose Conversions, choose the website or app you want to promote and select a pixel or app event. If you don't have a pixel or app event, you'll see instructions to create one. Then provide details on your target audience, ad placement, budget and schedule.
3.     In Audience, choose who you want to see your ad. You can use an Event Custom Audience to reach people who responded to an event on your Page. You can also exclude a specific audience. Click Continue when you're finished on this page.
4.     In the Identity section, choose your Facebook Page or Instagram account for your event ad.
5.     Design how your event ad will look by choosing the format and images (be sure to review the recommended image details).
6.     In the Links section, select the link type for your ad.
If you choose Website, enter the link for your event to direct people to where your tickets are being sold. If you choose Facebook Event, select a ticketed event you want to promote with your event ad.
7.     Provide the rest of your details, preview your ad and click Confirmwhen you're done.
Use the Engagement objective to get more event responses
If your goal for your event ad is to get more people to respond to your Facebook event, you should use the Engagement objective. Creating event ads with this objective will show an Interested button to people who see your ad.
1.      From your event page, click the Description: https://scontent-bom1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.2365-6/17351741_1879271699014397_7049609811842826240_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=39d335ba805e8127af9db63ce97f4b5c&oe=5BF2BBDA and select Get More Responses.
This opens Ads Manager and automatically selects the Engagementobjective and the Event responses option. Click Continue.
2.     Provide the details for your audience, ad placement, budget and schedule.

3.     Choose an identity for your event ad. Then design how your event ad will look by choosing the format and images (be sure to review the recommended image details).
4.     In the Event section, describe your event and choose the Facebook event you want to promote (either select an event you’ve already created or enter a link).
5.     Fill out the rest of your details, preview your ad and click Confirm when you're done.
Boost an event from your Page
After you create an event, you can boost the event from your Page to turn it into a Facebook ad. Boosting an event is best for businesses that don't regularly create event ads in Ads Manager. Keep in mind only Page admins and editors can boost events.
